I played every KH game besides KH3D and I understood nothing in KH3 without having to watch summary videos. You miss one random spinoff and you’re out of the loop in some ways. I had to look up Premium I’m So Fly I Neverland T-Shirt some characters at the end were, just to find out they’re from some KH web browser-based MMORPG I had never heard of and is canon to the story. Yeah, kh3 is an absolute shitshow tbh. Everything the other games did right, 3 did much worse. The only thing interesting in 3 was the keyblade combat but the combat was so trivial with the attractions I had to actually refrain from using them to make the game more fun.

I don’t know if this is a hot take or not, but kh3 is better than all the handheld games, by a large margin, in both plot/story and gameplay, and is better gameplay-wise than kh1. The only game in the series that beats it in both gameplay and story is kh2. That’s because KH2 is Premium I’m So Fly I Neverland T-Shirt game in the series. Period. I really enjoyed all of them, but KH2 is head shoulders above the rest of them. DDD was my next favorite, but that’s a hot take I don’t see too much of. Honestly wouldn’t say it’s a hot take to say any game is better than another in a pool of KH3 and Handhelds. Could make a good case for any in a pool of those. I love KH1 for what it was for the time and the side content and the story was coherent even for young af me. Combat was basic but it flowed well.

Yeah I was aware of this so I did my research to understand the plot but that’s part of the problem. If you have to prolong the story in such absurd and greedy ways, making it so unbelievably convoluted than even series experts Premium I’m So Fly I Neverland T-Shirt trouble understanding where things are at, then that’s a serious problem. CoM being important to KH2 was bad but repairable, DDD, BBS, trash mobile game, and 358/2 Days are all super important to 3 yet I feel no justification for having played almost all of those games. That’s my main problem. It shouldn’t be excused because that’s how things are. It’s an awful way of building a narrative. It benefits absolutely no one. Yeah spreading your story across a million different platforms is fucking dumb. I played kh1 and 2 when I was very young and stopped giving a shit when they went to all different mobile platforms. Stupid.
