I agree with everything but a no-build gamemode. Fortnite was separated from other battle royale games because of the game-breaking mechanic of building. Nobody would play a gamemode where this mechanic is taken out other than very new players or players completely against building, who shouldn’t be playing the game in the first place. The best way to separate the pros and the casuals would be to fix arena. Fix the ranking system in arena, Separate the loot pools (All the fun items like impulses and shopping carts will be in pubs and not in arena), etc. Golf Cart Life Funny Golf Cart with USA Flag T-Shirt Players of a higher skill would be more compelled to play competitive and casuals would continue to play public matches. I have no idea. I made the huge mistake of barely playing during season 9 and 10 so I wouldn’t know. I know there was the ground game ltm if that’s what you referring to but you could still slightly build. It wasn’t like the mechanic itself was removed entirely from the gamemode.

Yeah mate, I see your point, but back in the hype days, do you think people really cared for building besides people who wanted to get good and the pros? Nah, people wanted to play with their friends and have fun. Building just assisted them. I strongly believe that many people would play the no-building game mode. People weren’t playing for building back in meteor days. But besides that I agree with everything you said about arena and casuals.I actually like that there’s a pro element but what makes me sad, as a fully qualified growed up, Golf Cart Life Funny Golf Cart with USA Flag T-Shirt is the stress it seems to bring & I don’t think that’s ok & it spreads to from the pro influencer to their supporters. In most professional sports the sportsperson is ‘managed’ to try & ensure they set a good example…I skitted through the comp sub the other day & there’s a whole thread on who takes adderall to help them play – I mean, what?!

This is just the worst response, trotted out over and over and over. Its patronizing, it’s condescending & just downright irritating. It also doesn’t mean anything! ‘git gud’ – really? No game I’ve ever played has required being treated like a full time job just to fulfill the ‘git guds’ specifications. It’s a game! It was meant be to fun & a little silly, not training for like you’re actually going to war or your life depends on it. On release it was probably the simplest pick up ‘n play shooters I’ve come across. Golf Cart Life Funny Golf Cart with USA Flag T-Shirt You didn’t need to read a guide, didn’t need explanations for weapons or to understand their real-world counterparts in order to play and pre-cross platform (Inc when Switch was put into mobile lobbies) it was a level playing field. Everything was obvious & you could play & compete immediately. The build mechanic was for movement, reaching stuff & squad-building forts – look at the original trailer, it screamed fun.
