I have a question: how are streams calculated here? Cause albums can get hundreds of millions, or even billions, of streams. But no album has an SPS of like, 700 million SPS here or anything. thats so weird, cause no single person is ever gonna listen to an album 1500 times. My most listened to album is only 800 Plays. Well sure, Father Fanous Christian cross man T-Shirt but also you’re not paying for the full album, what I would pay for Taylor’s Lover album costs 2 months of Spotify Premium (For students) – and I listen to dozens of other albums a month. What? Every song apart from one has a 100m streams, and that’s on spotify alone. If anything, the streaming weights are way too low in comparison to sales. Billboard needs to reduce how much weight is given to streaming equivalent sales (1500 for paid is too damn high). Most fanbases are streaming now anyway and the industry needs to reflect that. Didn’t Billboard change their rules recently? I thought it was now 1 album = 1250 paid/premium streams or 3750 free streams. Norman Fucking Rockwell is so much lower Father Fanous Christian cross man T-Shirt I expected… like below Hozier, Bebe Rexha, The Backstreet Boys  pure sales still includes streaming right? or is it just actual buying of the product whether physical or idigital? i get so confused as to what counts as what nowadays

P!nk making it in the pure sales top 20 but not in the SPS top 100, girl… I guess it’s fine for an album she didn’t even care about. Lana deserves to be higher, I hope the Grammys would give her an extra push. I’m worried about Melanie Martinez, sis released a 6 million budget movie four months ago yet the album isn’t on this list.
